Crux is a Quanta Services company, headquartered in Spokane Valley, Washington. Our expertise applies to a wide range of project types and services. While other contractors may seem to offer similar services, the Crux approach is unquestionably unique. We operate in the most remote, difficult-to-access and environmentally sensitive areas. We specialize in reducing environmental impact, lowering overall project cost, and reducing overall project completion times, often making projects feasible that would otherwise be impossible.
To do so, we have designed and custom-built a variety of specialty equipment. We have developed innovative technologies and processes. Our people have unsurpassed expertise in geotechnical exploration and construction projects requiring difficult access or extreme environmental sensitivity.

We operate a full in-house machine shop that designs, fabricates and maintains our equipment fleet. This fully staffed facility provides us with custom equipment that is not available on the open market.
It also provides fast response times for equipment repairs and modifications. Because our field staff is instrumental in developing this equipment, they bring exceptional mechanical and operational knowledge base to the field.
In addition to our in-house fabrication facility, Inland Pacific Drill Supply (IPDS), a Crux subsidiary, manufactures a variety of downhole tools. Crux developed IPDS to support the drilling industry as a responsive supplier of high quality drill tools and specialty products.
