Crux provides challenging inclinometer casing and vibrating wire piezometer installation. 
 

Whether a project requires the installation of inclinometer casing to monitor slope movement in a landslide, or the installation of multi-strand vibrating wire piezometers at depths of 2,600 feet to monitor ground water in a proposed tunnel elevation, we have the experience and capabilities necessary to complete difficult instrument installations. Using our custom drills and operator experience, Crux provides clients with high-quality geotechnical and structural instrumentation installation services. Crux has developed strong working relationships with instrumentation material vendors, and can provide solutions to challenging instrumentation projects.
 

Instrumentation Experience:

  • Vertical and horizontal inclinometer casing installations, including 1.9”, 2.75”, and 3.34” to depths of 500 feet.
  • Standpipe piezometers to depths of 500 feet.
  • Vibrating wire piezometers and multi-level vibrating wire piezometers 2,600-foot depths.
  • Continuous Multichannel Tubing (CMT) piezometers to depths of 300 feet.
  • Extensometer systems to depths of 300 feet.
  • Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) cable installation to depths of 1,000 feet.
  • Installation of settlement systems.
