“Crux’s growth has been a direct result of continuous innovation and a strong employee drive to satisfy our most challenging customer demands” says Crux CFO Mark Neupert. “Our emergence as one of ENR’s Top 600 Specialty Contractors recognizes the unique value we’re able to provide.”
Founded in 1998, Crux provides geotechnical drilling and construction services, and specializes in jobs with difficult access, poor soil conditions and sensitive environmental considerations.
ENR (Engineering News-Record) is one of the nation’s most influential journals covering the construction and engineering industry. Each year it ranks leading U.S. contractors according to revenue. This year’s list was published in the October 17, 2011 issue.
ENR ranks Crux #463 on the nationwide list of specialty contractors, which includes firms that specialize in areas such as concrete, demolition, electrical, mechanical, steel erection, utility and excavation/foundation, among others. The firms serve a long list of markets, including general building, power, water supply, sewer/waste, transportation and telecom.
A subscription to the publication is required to see the entire article, but an introduction with the complete list can be seen at The Top 600 Specialty Contractors (2011).
