What drew me to Crux is the sheer uniqueness of what we do — we’re a small yet big company in a niche corner of the industry that most people don’t even know exists. As a contractor’s engineer, we work side-by-side with field and construction crews in a way that’s pretty rare. I love being involved in all stages, from design to the finished product, to the questions of not ‘if’ something can be done but ‘how,’ to the problem solving and crafting of unique solutions, and to everything in between. Because the fact is, there will always be surprises with construction. Every project comes with its own case of unique challenges and unknowns, and no two projects are ever the same — and that’s exactly what keeps the work interesting.
