Earth Retention

Soil Nail Walls:

Crux designs and installs soil nail walls; an earth retention system used to stabilize slope and landslides, limiting ground settlement and providing earth retention systems for deep excavations.

Ground Anchors/Tiebacks:

These tension elements typically post-tensioned to transfer loads from a structure to competent soil or rock stratum. Crux routinely installs ground anchor and tieback systems for a number of applications, including to support retaining structures against lateral earth and water pressures, as well as to provide resistance for tensile uplifts on below grade structures due to elevated groundwater and overturning or sliding forces in dam stability projects.
